COVID 19 – Policies for Fen Farm Caravan Site

These rules are in addition and supersede our main Policies if applicable.
Please do not travel to our site if you or any members of your family have/have had any Coronavirus symptoms within the last 14 days.
If you fall ill while you are here, please inform a member of staff by phone and return to your home as soon as possible.
You must adhere to current Government Guidelines including Social Distancing whilst on and off the site.
You must not come to Fen Farm if you are shielding, this is against Government Guidelines.
** We are still a Holiday Site **
Our office number is 01206 383275 open 9am-5pm each day (closed 1pm-1.30pm).

Only access reception if necessary, please e-mail or phone where possible. Only one person allowed in the office at any one time. Card payments only will be accepted.
Office Sales will be restricted to Gas and emergency sales only. There will be no book exchange or tourist Information available.
Please be advised that toilets/showers will be open, but we would ask for you to be self-sufficient as much as possible.
You will be advised of cleaning times of the amenities during your stay and there will be times that part of the block will be closed and the other part will be unisex.
Accessible and Family Room cards still available from the office for those that need them.
When using the Bin Areas/Water Taps/Elsan points please wash your hands after use.
Please bring essentials with you to reduce stress on local businesses and consider our local community. We believe that with all the caravan sites opening at the same time, this could cause congestion in local shops.
Mersea Barns (you passed it on your way here) would be pleased to welcome your custom. Mersea Island Holiday Park shop will only be available to our customers from 10am and will not have all items available.
** Playparks will be open and hand sanitiser made available at the entrance. Maximum of 6 people in the playparks. Children must be supervised at all times in the Play Parks and Toilet/Showers **
** You must ensure your children are aware of social distancing at all times when they are not with you. If we feel they are not acting appropriately, we will ask you to supervise you children at all times **
**Groups of no more than 6 people to from different households to gather inside or outside**
** Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times on all parts of the site **
** No Visitors Touring/Camping Fields. Seasonal Pitch Holders and Static Owners ONLY (must adhere to current Government Guidelines) **
**No more than 6 people in the top block laundry area, face masks must be worn**

Static Owners and Seasonal Pitch Holders
Any Outside contractors must be reported to the office with enough notice for us to contact them to check their procedures.
If you have any problems in your caravan, please contact the office in the first instance in accordance with the new policies. We will try to help as much as we can by phone or e-mail.
We will not enter a caravan until it has been vacant for 72 hours.
